Alon shows rich aromas of plum, black cherries and fresh berries, a hint of light grass and notes of maple and browned butter.The wine has a balanced acidity and a smooth, silky texture that ends in a long and pleasant finish.After 10-20 days of skinned fermentation at 28 ºC, the wine underwent a complete malolactic fermentation, followed by maturation in oak barrels for approximately one year.
The winter preceding the growing season was warmer than previous years. As a result, the vine's flowering occurred earlier than usual, causing ripening and harvesting to start about two weeks earlier. Temperatures were relatively moderate throughout the growing season without extreme events, allowing for quality ripening.
