This is a fine dry Riesling from the limestone and marl soils on the Dittelsheimer Kloppberg. It has a nice, clear fruitiness with aromas of ripe quinces, yellow apples and a hint of ripe peach. In terms of taste, the acidity is attractive and ripe, present and harmonious.Despite the volume, the mouthfeel is youthful, subtly sparkling with a long pleasant finish.
The characteristics of this biodynamic Riesling are classic for the grapes and the soil of the vineyard. The grapes are harvested after a particularly long ripening. The young wine is kept on the lees until bottling, which gives it a large volume and a long shelf life.
