Vestigo is a powerful and elegant wine. On the nose it has aromas of blackberries, plums and berries, along with bay leaf and spiciness. On the palate it is energizing, persistent and mouth-filling. The wine ages 6 to 8 manades in 15hl French oak barrels. This, in combination with its fresh acidity, makes it a fine, complex wine with a long finish. Vestigo goes well with main dishes with beef, wild boar pates, venison steak with cranberry sauce, etc.
Venea extends along 10ha of vineyards in the area of Fossacesia (Chieti - Abruzzo). Venea is a story of love and friendship. The Paolucci family's love for nature and their land. Attention and respect is needed to transfer this relationship and dealing with nature to the coming generations. The whole family of father, mother, children and a cousin and an uncle is involved in winemaking. The typical Trebbiano, Pecorino and Montepulciano grape varieties are represented in an excellent way.
