The color of Falanghina del Beneventano is light lemon yellow. The fragrance has an intense and complex bouquet with balanced aromas of citrus, pineapple and white peach. The taste of the wine is full and at the same time refreshing with a perfect balance between acidity, concentration and heartiness; a fine wine with a well-composed and dry finish. This wine can be perfectly combined with vegetarian dishes and Mediterranean recipes. Also with Spaghetti with zucchini and mint, potato soup, pasta with broccoli, stuffed artichokes, roasted squid or ravioli with sardines.
This wine is produced from Falanghina grapes from vines in the province of Benevento. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in small boxes to avoid crushing them. The grapes are gently crushed into whole bunches to get the free-running juice. Wine making and maturing on fine lees takes 4 months and takes place in stainless steel tanks.
