Would you like to understand wine better, improve your tasting skills or perhaps even work towards becoming a vinologist? At Sharing Wine, you can join enjoyable and practical SDEN wine courses in The Hague, from SDEN 1 for beginners to advanced SDEN 3.

At Sharing Wine, we offer wine courses at different levels. Whether you’re just starting out, already have some experience or work with wine professionally, you can start at the level that suits you. No previous wine qualification is required.

Our courses take place in the cosy tasting room behind our wine shop in The Hague. In small groups, we combine theory with plenty of tasting. Beautiful visual presentations, maps, photos and stories from the world of wine bring the theory to life. You don’t just learn about wine; you also get a feel for the world behind the glass.

Tasting is at the heart of every Sharing Wine course. You discover for yourself how grape variety, climate, soil, winemaking and origin influence the taste and style of a wine. As the level increases, we go deeper into the subject and develop increasingly advanced analytical tasting skills.

The courses are taught by different vinologists from our team, each with their own expertise, experience and passion for wine. This variety brings different perspectives to the lessons and makes them personal, lively and engaging.

Alongside our SDEN wine courses, we also organise wine tastings and inspiring masterclasses. Always with interesting wines, great stories and plenty of opportunity to taste and enjoy wine together.

All courses take place at Sharing Wine, Fahrenheitstraat 594 in The Hague. The courses can be followed by the nationally recognised SDEN exam. Taking the exam is not compulsory. Please note: our wine courses are taught in Dutch.
