Domaine Baud Génération 9 Tradition Deux Grains de Paradis 2022 develops a characteristic, slightly oxidative nose with notes of roasted nuts and dry herbs, typical of the Jura style. As the wine breathes, subtle accents of yellow fruit and a hint of honey also emerge, supported by a fresh, mineral base.

On the palate, the wine is dry and lively, with a strikingly high acidity that balances the savory, spicy notes. The combination of Savagnin and Chardonnay provides a layered structure, with a light bitterness and a long, spicy finish reminiscent of nuts and spices. It is a gastronomic wine with great tension and character. Domaine Baud Génération 9 is a family estate in Le Vernois, in the heart of the Jura, with roots dating back to 1742. Since January 1, 2016, the estate has been led by the ninth generation, Bastien and Clémentine Baud, who continue to manage the 25-hectare vineyard with respect for the craft and the terroirs passed down for nine generations.

The name "Deux Grains de Paradis" refers to the two grape varieties in the blend, Savagnin and Chardonnay. The wine is partially aged under voile/flor, a thin layer of yeast similar to the method used in sherry, which imparts the characteristic oxidative, savory profile, while the Chardonnay provides some extra roundness and fruit.
