Amaretto Veneziano Salizà Tosolini
Amaretto Veneziano Salizà is a premium Italian almond liqueur produced by the renowned Bepi Tosolini distillery. Unlike many commercial amarettos made from apricot kernels or flavour concentrates, Salizà is crafted using real Italian almonds that are macerated and then re-distilled, creating remarkable depth, purity and authenticity.
The nose reveals enticing aromas of freshly ground almonds, marzipan, toffee and orange zest. On the palate, rich almond flavours mingle with notes of honey, candied apricot and caramelised nuts. The texture is silky and refined, leading to a long, elegant finish with restrained sweetness and exceptional balance.
Bottled at 28% ABV, Salizà is delicious served neat, over ice or as the foundation of classic cocktails such as the Amaretto Sour and Godfather. Its complexity also makes it an outstanding pairing with desserts and coffee.
About Bepi Tosolini Distillery
Founded shortly after World War II in Friuli, northeastern Italy, Bepi Tosolini has become one of Italy's most respected artisanal distilleries. The family-owned company remains dedicated to craftsmanship, quality and traditional distillation methods, now carried forward by the third generation of the Tosolini family.
The distillery is renowned for using only natural ingredients, avoiding artificial colourings and flavourings. For Salizà, almonds are infused and re-distilled in traditional botanical stills, producing a uniquely refined and complex almond liqueur that stands apart from mass-market alternatives.
The Salizà Legend
The name Salizà originates from a romantic Venetian legend. In the historic Castello district of Venice, a red heart-shaped stone is set beneath an archway. According to local tradition, couples who visit the spot together will remain in love forever. This enchanting story inspired the name of this exceptional liqueur.
