The Tenuta Gorghi Tondi Frappato Dumé is a bright, purple-red wine with a lively and fruity flavor profile. On the nose, the wine displays an intense bouquet of red forest fruits, such as ripe raspberries, pomegranate, and wild strawberries, subtly complemented by soft notes of spices. On the palate, the wine is remarkably fresh, elegant, and extremely smooth, characterized by fine, soft tannins and a harmonious structure that ensures an easy-drinking character.
This organic red wine is produced by the Sicilian winery Tenuta Gorghi Tondi, situated in a unique nature reserve in southwestern Sicily, near Mazara del Vallo. The wine bears the Sicilia DOC appellation and is made entirely from the indigenous Frappato grape variety. After careful temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages for 6 months in stainless steel vessels. As a result, the wine retains its pure fruit expression and mineral freshness, unaffected by oak notes.
