The Santa Tresa Il Frappato Spumante Brut has a clear, light pink color in the glass. On the nose, delicate and fresh aromas of small red fruits emerge, with distinct notes of wild strawberries and raspberries, complemented by a subtle floral touch. On the palate, this sparkling rosé offers a lively and refreshing character with fine, persistent bubbles. The taste reflects the juicy red fruit from the aroma, perfectly balanced by mild, refreshing acidity and a clean, dry finish.

Behind this sparkling wine stands the team of Stefano and Marina Girelli and their business partner Massimo Maggio. Their philosophy is focused on protecting native flora and fauna and making wines in complete harmony with nature. This Spumante is made from 100% Frappato grapes that are grown with fully organic and vegan certification. After an early manual harvest to preserve the fresh acidity, the wine undergoes a natural second fermentation in sealed tanks (following the Charmat method) to optimally capture the fine bubbles and pure fruit expression.

The grapes come from the historic Feudo di Santa Tresa estate in Vittoria, located in the dry and warm southeast of Sicily. Here, the frappato vines grow on a special "Terra Rossa" soil, consisting of a layer of red loam with a thick layer of limestone underneath. This limestone layer acts as a sponge that retains moisture, ensuring the plants receive sufficient water even during hot summers. Thanks to a cool sea breeze from the south, the vineyards cool down well at night, which is essential for the aromatic and fresh character of this unique sparkling wine.
