Gorgeous Georgia Red is a deep ruby ​​red, velvety, and elegant red wine made from the indigenous Saperavi grape, Georgia's most widely planted red grape variety. The wine displays ripe cherries and a subtle hint of red pepper. The tannins are soft and supple, resulting in a long, velvety finish.

The wine is produced by Teliani Valley, one of Georgia's largest and most renowned wineries, located in Telavi in ​​the heart of Kakheti. The house was founded in 1997 by a group of passionate winemakers with the ambition to revitalize the centuries-old Georgian wine culture using modern techniques. From humble beginnings, Teliani Valley has grown into a leading producer that is exported worldwide and enjoys international recognition.

Kakheti is considered the birthplace of wine, with an unbroken viticultural tradition spanning over 8,000 years. The Saperavi grapes for this wine grow at altitudes between 400 and 700 meters, in a temperate climate with cool nights and sandy, calcareous clay soils.
