The Ponte Villoni Prosecco Rosé Brut stands out with its clear, refined light pink color and a lively, persistent bubble in the glass. On the nose, this sparkling rosé opens with a distinctly fruity bouquet, featuring fresh aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries, and red currants. These notes are subtly complemented by hints of citrus fruits and a light floral touch. On the palate, the wine presents itself as elegant and refreshing. The lively red fruit provides a juicy character, which is kept in tight and harmonious balance by vibrant acidity.
This Prosecco Rosé is produced using the Charmat method, focusing on preserving the primary fruit aromas. The base wine consists primarily of the white Glera grape, supplemented with a small percentage of Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) to give the wine its characteristic pink color and fruity structure. After the temperature-controlled first fermentation, the blend undergoes a second fermentation in sealed tanks.
