Pecorino is one such grape that sparkles with excitement. This wine is characterized by a mature, complex and convincing style. The aromas range from yellow apple, melon, peach to tropical scents of mango, papaya and typical yellow flowers. The taste expresses itself in fullness, good body, a soft delicate acidity and elegance.
Origin of the grapes: The grapes are grown in Fossacesia, where the overlapping climate between cool and warm allows the production of international and indigenous. It is a clay-like, open ground, more cultivated, density 4000 vines. The grapes are picked during the first week of September. After destemment, the wine is made by cold maceration and slowly pressed at 10 ° C for 12 hours. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out at 14 ° C by adding selective yeasts, then maturing in stainless steel tanks for 5 months.
Venea extends along 10ha of vineyards in the area of Fossacesia (Chieti - Abruzzo). Venea is a story of love and friendship. The Paolucci family's love for nature and their land. Attention and respect is needed to transfer this relationship and dealing with nature to the coming generations. The whole family of father, mother, children and a cousin and an uncle is involved in winemaking. The typical Trebbiano, Pecorino and Montepulciano grape varieties are represented in an excellent way.
