This Crémant de Bourgogne Pinot Noir Rosé Brut from Chartron et Trébuchet displays a refined, persistent effervescence in the glass. The aromatic profile opens with fresh notes of red fruit and citrus, interwoven with more complex nuances of dried fruit, honey, and white flowers. On the palate, the initial taste is soft and clean. Flavors of ripe peach and apple are supported by subtle acidity and layered notes of toast and bread crust. The wine is harmoniously balanced and finishes with a long, persistent aftertaste.
The complexity and fine structure are the result of the traditional method, in which the wine undergoes a classic second fermentation in the bottle. This process creates the fine bubbles and gives the Crémant its characteristic, deep notes of toast and bread dough.
Chartron et Trébuchet produces this wine from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from Burgundy. As part of Maison François Martenot, the winery combines artisanal, regional expertise with modern techniques. The grapes are strictly selected and transported in small crates to prevent damage and unnecessary pumping. The Crémants are subsequently produced to the same high standards as the top still wines and carefully aged in a dedicated cellar in Ligny-le-Châtel, to guarantee the purest expression of the terroir and the fruit in the glass.
