Smooth and fruity Portuguese Reserva from Tejo. Ripe cherry, red berries and hints of toast and vanilla. Harmonious, soft and approachable with a round, full finish. Read more
Serradayres Reserva Tinto comes from the Tejo region in Portugal, an area known for its warm climate and fertile soils along the Tagus River. Wines from this region are typically fruit-driven, generous and approachable in style. The blend of indigenous and international grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Syrah and Castelão creates a balance of ripe fruit, structure and subtle spice.
The 2020 Reserva Tinto shows a deep garnet colour and expressive aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry and red forest fruits, complemented by subtle notes of toast and vanilla from oak ageing. On the palate it is smooth and rounded, with a medium body and a harmonious structure.
The finish is soft and fruit-forward with gentle spice and an easy, approachable character. An ideal everyday Reserva for those who enjoy generous, fruit-driven Portuguese reds, perfect with grilled meats, pasta dishes, stews and casual dining.
