Do you already know the local grape Verdil??It is not yet very well known.The grape has its own taste, a filmy mouthfeel and is soft and round. Organic and Vegan.In addition to the 'normal' white wine from Verdil, this winemaker also makes a beautiful 'Orange wine'.
The grapes are grown in the wild south of Valencia.Dry and warm conditions, where this local hero feels very comfortable.The entire yield is hand-picked, there are very healthy grapes on the vine (no pesticides).
Bodegas Enguera is a relatively young producer, founded in 1999. They have almost 160 hectares of vineyards divided over two areas: in Fontanars del Alforins and in Enguera.Both about an hour's drive southwest of Valencia. This quality bodega, founded by young, ambitious winemakers, is completely dedicated to organic farming without pesticides.The vision: one can only produce balanced wines with love for the land and for the grapes.
