Red Arensbak tastes like ripe summer berries, liquorice and earthy tones. A dry drink with a deep and long aftertaste. This is next level. Treat this drink as if it were a wine: between 16 and 18 degrees in a large wine glass it will come into its own per Read more
Arensbak Red is made from Shu Puerh black tea from the Yunnan region in southwestern China. The tea itself has a natural earthy flavor that contributes to the deep and complex flavor of Arensbak Red. It is made on a kombucha base and in the second fermentation aronia berries, black currants, sour cherries and mushrooms are added to create umami. The infusion of juniper berries and licorice contributes to the deep mouthfeel of Arensbak Red. Finally, Arensbak Red is layered on oak to enhance the natural tannins and structure. The red and black fruits mixed with spicy notes make it a perfect non-alcoholic alternative to red wine.

Arensbak was founded in 2020 by entrepreneur Christian Arensbak with the vision to create an unparalleled non-alcoholic drinking experience.
Arensbak has deep roots in Copenhagen. The drinks are made by sommelier Emilie Øst-Jacobson and flavor designer Bram Kerkhof. Before Arensbak, Emilie was sommelier at the two-star restaurant Alchemist and Bram fermented at restaurant Noma, awarded three Michelin stars and often named the best restaurant in the world.
The inspiration for Arensbak came from the lack of tasty non-alcoholic wines and the global rise of this increasingly popular category. Christian wanted to create a wine proxy with vinosity, depth and natural tannins. A non-alcoholic replacement for wine that is as tasty as a glass of wine, and perfect served with food. Together with Emilie and Bram, Arensbak came to life. The use of complex fermentation techniques combined with tea and botanicals of very high quality, makes Arensbak the most tasteful and balanced wine proxy available. With a complexity and vinosity that you know from wine. Only then without alcohol.
